One can safely say that it has a critical importance in helping executives cope with the ever more present anxiety generated from business disruption in this digital era of innovation.

Radical changes, from our new routine with the way we interact with others, have become integral part of our reality which can be very challenging for most of us who have difficulty in dealing with it.
In times of lockdown it is probably even more useful to invest our valuable time to develop mindfulness through the practice of meditation and possibly other techniques. In many cases, simple breathing exercises can be very effective in clearing our minds, focusing attention, as well attaining a relaxed and pleasant sensation of wellness. Overall, it is possible to see that the return on investment can be quite high. Very effective in dealing with stress and anxiety, a mindfulness practice can yield an important bonus as executives progress in their professional path: it can significantly improve emotional intelligence. The competencies for success in senior leadership roles change significantly and emotional intelligence, often overseen by leaders and companies, take a central stage. The ability to negotiate with the board of directors and to develop a thorough analysis of the organization’s social and cultural environment, become as important as results and strategic orientation, as well as leadership.
In summary: be mindful of your breath and meditate!
